TICKETS NOW AVAILABLE FOR 37th ANNUAL HOSPICE CHARITY EVENT & AUCTION
The Annual Prairie Home Hospice and Community Care’s Charity Event & Auction has been a premier charity event in Lyon County for nearly 40 years. This year’s 37th annual event will take place on April 23rd at the Red Baron Arena & Expo and will be, once again, Sponsored by Lockwood Motors. This year’s theme is “Meadows and Moonshine”. “Prairie Home Hospice & Community Care is excited to hold this year’s event once again, and we are hopeful that this year’s theme will be enjoyable for attendees as we all anxiously await summer and warmer weather,” says PHH CEO Sarah Kirchner.
The night will begin a social hour from 5-7pm, as guests browse the hundreds of auction items on display. Around 6:45pm the Hitching Post will start to serve up their fantastic menu items. Deb Herrmann and Kelly Brunsvold, PHH Board Members and co-chairs of the event committee, emphasize that “We are so looking forward to trying out some new menu items this year, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone for what is sure to be an incredible evening.”
The silent and live auctions will include some great get-away packages, one of a kind craftsman’s items, sports memorabilia, fun group trips, date night and family fun items. . . Each year, hundreds of individuals, businesses, and organizations from across Lyon County come together to support our Charity Event & Auction. Funds raised through this event help to ensure that we can continue to live up to our commitment of providing compassionate hospice care to those in need, regardless of their ability to fully pay for that care. As the number of patients we serve continues to grow each year while maintain two hospice houses, and Fieldcrest Assisted Living; the funds we raise through events like this are more important than ever.
