MAY SHE REST IN PEACE
BonnieClair Henrietta Guza (Fredricks) was born in Arco, Minnesota, to Henry and Freda (Alleckson) Fredricks and was the oldest of 7 siblings: Arnie, Marvin, Larry, Carol, Stan, and Pat. Her family lived in the Arco and rural Minneota area. She attended area country schools, but her school days were cut short when her mother became ill. She stayed home to help her dad care for the younger siblings. Her mother passed away when Bonnie was only 17. Bonnie loved to read and continued to learn throughout her life.
Bonnie was united in marriage to Joseph Guza in 1954. They made their home in the rural Minneota area. Bonnie, a woman of great faith, was a member of New Thresholds of Faith Church of Marshall, Minnesota. She accepted Jesus as her personal Lord and Savior and loved and served Him the rest of her life, leading her children and grandchildren to love Jesus while praying for them continually. She was active in her church, being a part of the intercessory prayer group who pioneered the annual Thanksgiving Dinner still being held each year in Marshall, Minnesota. Later, Bonnie was an active member of Faith Family Christian Center in Hendricks, Minnesota, again serving as an intercessory prayer warrior. She helped by baking and serving at vacation Bible School and assisted with making angels by helping package them with a salvation prayer message which were distributed to hundreds.
Bonnie was a giver and spent several years volunteering at the local Community Food Shelf and Clothing Center, also in Marshall, Minnesota. She loved giving of herself and her time and was a blessing to many.
