Prairie Home Hospice & Community Care is proud to announce that we have elected our newest incoming Chief Executive Officer! We are excited to welcome Sarah Kirchner to the Prairie Home Hospice & Community Care team.
Sarah, along with her husband and two daughters, reside in Marshall. Sarah most recently held the position of Fiscal Manager at Southwest Health and Human Services in Marshall.
Sarah is taking over as Chief Executive Officer in place of Pat Mellenthin, who held the position for 9 years prior. Sarah will oversee operations of Prairie Home Hospice’s two hospice homes: McLaughlin House and Lockwood House; as well as Fieldcrest Assisted Living in Cottonwood. Duties will include Business and Financial Management, Licensing & Regulatory Compliance, Benefit Administration, Human Resources and Public Relations, and more.
Prairie Home Hospice & Community Care anticipates an early September start date for Sarah. “We are extremely excited to have Sarah join our team and think that she will be a valuable asset to our team” exclaimed Prairie Home Hospice & Community Care Board President Larry Johnson.
